With a sigh, Haley watched the waves roll onto the shore. As much as she missed her home in Tennessee, she was happy to live so close to the beach. Sun Valley was really starting to grow on her, but it could never replace her home in Memphis. She wondered how her friends were doing. She wasn't allowed to call because of the long distance charges, and her friends didn't have an email address or a myspace because their parents were soooo concerned about their safety on the internet. Blah, blah, blah.
Haley was sitting in the sand, watching the waves break against the shore. She was wearing a pink halter bikini and a pair of white shorts. She was wearing dark sunglasses with sparkles on the side and a pair of black flip-flops. She was wearing her hair up in a simple ponytail.
Haley glanced from side to side. Not many people were around. She could see a family building a sandcastle together, and there were some college students throwing a party. Other than that, the beach was very empty, which was surprising for a warm Saturday afternoon. She stood up, took off her flip-flops, and walked toward shore. The wind blew softly, causing her hair to blow along with it. The water came up to her ankles as she stood there, looking at the ocean. She glanced back toward the beach, wondering why so few people were there. Was there something exciting going on? Why should she care anyway? She would much rather be here, in her own perfect paradise.

Gabriella stolled down the beach, seeing Haley looing depressed about something. She went over to her in her sarong and one-peice swimsuit, her barefeet leaving impressions on the sand as she walked slowly for an excersise at the very least. "Hi Haley," said Gabriella roboticly. For once, she was deprived of any sort of hyperness, obviously was not invited to a party, since she wasn't dressed for anything but walking on the beach.
Gabriella's hair was down, beach waves in the breeze that occasionally passed, and said, "There's nothing going on except for the fact that I'm planning a party next Saturday." Gabriella looked at her and said, "Well, do you want to come to my party next Saturday?" Gabriella smiled.

Haley let out another sigh as Ella greeted her. "Hey," she said plainly, without even a glance toward her. She liked looking out at the ocean. It was so peaceful at the beach, well... besides the fact that there were some college students having a party, and probably getting seriously drunk. After Ella mentioned to her that she was throwing another party, Haley replied with a slight sarcastic tone, "Another party? Sure, I guess." She smiled softly with a sigh. She was thinking of throwing a party herself on the beach, but... I guess there wasn't really any point in it. She knew that there would only be eight people at the most there. Besides, Ella would probably just throw a party and everyone would go there instead.

Gabriella sighed and said, after reading her sort of like her sister, since Sharpay would do the same thing, "It's not about the fact there's nothing to do right? What is it?"

Haley snapped out of her thoughts of the ocean, as she glanced toward Ella. "Well..." she started, biting her lip. She didn't want Ella to think that she wouldn't love to come to her party, because she would love to, but... Haley had never thrown a big party before, so she was hoping to take a shot at it. "I'm not turning sixteen until next year, but... I thought about throwing a Sweet Fifteen party." She paused and glanced back toward the ocean. "But if you're going to throw another party, then there's no point in me throwing one too. Besides there would only be like... five people there anyway."

Gabriella said, "Oh, well, maybe this party could be joint-hosted! It could be for you, and you can help host it. Win-win, I get something to do next Saturday, and you get your dream party." Gabriella always had some sort of solution that would get her out of the house and help someone else out as well. "Now, what kind of cake do you want for your Sweet 15? Don't forget a dress, those are very esential to major parties, it doesn't have to be all sweet and innocent, you can make it flashy. Oh, and fifteenth birthdays are usually called Quincenedas," said Gabriella. She knew every type of party known to man.

Haley let out a sigh. This was starting to seem complicated. She knew that it probably wouldn't work. It was going to be Harvey's birthday too, and she knew that he'd like to help throw his party. "You can just go ahead and throw your party. My twin brother, Harvey, will want to help plan his own party, so... it would just be a lot harder for all three of us to plan just one party. He's probably not going to agree on the party ideas that two girls come up with," she said, expressing her opinion honestly.

She said, "Really? I have an idea." She dialed her brother who knew how to get into a guy's mind and she started talking to him, and he was giving her ideas how to change a girly party into a guy-girl party. He mentioned things like less frills and less of a fancy cake and more of just like what a guy would want. Gabriella nodded.
She said, "My brother just said what he thinks of my parties and he said that they were ok, just if there were less frills he'd like it a little more. So, goodbye fancy punch, and say hello to a cake that a guy AND a girl could appreciate. What do you think of just not too much decorations, and a lot more music?"

Haley nodded. "Sounds like a good plan to me," she stated. "I could ask Harvey to come down here and plan it with us," she added, looking at Ella. "Mind if I borrow your phone?" She figured she should call Harvey and ask him to come down to the beach. He could help them plan it. Hopefully he had his cellphone with him, wherever he was. Haley had left hers in the dormitory, so that she wouldn't accidentally drop it in the ocean. She was a bit clumsy like that.

"Sure, if it breaks, I could always tell my mom that I had to buy a new phone because it was broken," said Gabriella. She handed Haley the phone.

Haley dialed in Harvey's cellphone number. It rang a few times, and she sighed. Pick up the phone! she thought angrily, tapping her foot. "Hello?" came the voice from the other line. "Harvey! Meet me and Ella at the beach!" Haley exclaimed into the phone. "Bossy, aren't you? Fine I'm on my way, he replied, and she turned off the phone. She handed it back to Ella, and waited for Harvey to come.
((I'll wait until after you post to have him come in))

"What was his answer?" Gabriella was laughing as she took back the phone. She had heard his exhprated answer, it was her phone, after all.

Haley sighed softly. "He's on his way," she replied, glancing behind her for a few moments.
-As Harvey 'cuz switching accounts takes too long-
After a few minutes, Harvey walked onto the beach, expecting Haley to yell at him for taking too long to get there. He saw her standing closer to the shore with Ella. He walked over to them. "Okay, I'm here. What do you want?" he asked them, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
((I'll just let you explain, if that's ok))

((Fine, I'll try...)) "Hey Harvey. Ya know how your birthday's coming up? Why not have a party to celebrate it? Like maybe a good party with some music, and a DJ booth to spin some records?" Gabriella was seeing what he would like, since guys are different. "Maybe even a beach party with surfboarding with the pros and volleyball? And maybe a buffet," she said, remembering that guys think with their stomaches most of the time, and love sports.

-As Harvey-
Harvey glanced from Haley to Ella as she spoke. "So that's why you called me down here?" he asked them. "Sounds cool to me, but... our birthday is coming really soon. Are you sure that you have enough time to plan it?" he asked Haley.
-As Haley-
Haley nodded. "If you want, Ella and I can take care of everything. All you have to do is show up and have fun." she said, glaring at Harvey.
-As Harvey again-
"Fine," he said, rolling his eyes. "Just don't make it incredibly girly."
